Also, I have students with a Bikram background and wanted to know where they were coming from. <br /><br />I disagreed with most of the script and the idea that the teacher must abide by this script. I most certainly did not like that Bikram uses a carpeted room which soaks up the sweat and when combined with heat makes the studio smell like old bowling shoes. If you take away the heat, there isn't a whole lot to the practice....and yet there is. There are postures and I get to choose my experience of those postures. Will I go back? I don't think so.
